CRSF1700 - Maintain Course Version Rules

Purpose

To enable inquiry on Course Version Rules and to access the form used to create and edit Rules

This form is used to inquire on the Course Version Rule attached to a particular Course Version.

The form can be accessed:

  • Directly from a menu, permitting course versions to be queried in this form.
  • In context from the Maintain Basic Course Details form (CRSF1210). Return to CRSF1210 to query a new Course Version.

In Callista, there are the following Rules for Course Versions:

  • Articulated Courses;
  • Course Version Completion;
  • Course Version Honours Level;
  • Core.

Refer to Understanding Rules for further details on creating Rules and to Course Version Rules for information on syntax.

This form can be accessed through the Other Course Detail button in CRSF1210, then the Course Version Rules arrow.

 

The Course Version block contains:

  • Course Code
  • Version Number
  • Sector
  • Course Status
  • Title

The Course Version Rule block contains:

  • Rule Description
  • Rule Text

    Button

    • Edit Rule

Rules/Notes:

The Edit Rule button provides access to RULF2000, enabling the rule to be edited.

The Rule Text field displays the detail of the rule for the context course version. Where no Rule Text has been recorded for a course version, an UNDEFINED lamp is displayed adjacent to the rule description.
