Purpose

To allow the recording of institution defined Exam Supervisor Types

Use this form to record institution defined Exam Supervisor Types.

They are used to categorise Supervisors in the Maintain Examination Supervisors form (ASSF4310). Supervisor Types provide an indication of the level of responsibility that Supervisors can be expected to assume in the supervision of examinations.

For example, CHIEF and ASSISTANT. A Supervisor Type can be defined as 'In Charge' by selecting the check box. Exam Supervisors assigned an 'in charge' Supervisor Type inherit this attribute.

Also used in the Allocate Supervisors to Venues form (ASSF4630) when specifying override Supervisor Type when allocating Supervisors to Exam Instances and Exam Session Venues.

• Exam Supervisor Type
• Description
• In Charge check box
• Closed check box

Rules/Notes:

Once used in the System, Exam Supervisor Types cannot be deleted. Select the Closed check box to prevent further use.

Once used in the System, only minor description modifications should be carried out.
