Derivation of the Government Reportable Indicator

The process which determines whether or not a record in the enrolments statistics snapshot is reportable in the government statistics submissions, is described below. The methods by which other derived values in that snapshot are determined are described in Derivation of Values in the Government Statistics Process.

The Government Reportable indicator flags each record in the enrolments statistics snapshot as being either reportable (Y), not reportable (N) or a warning (W). Warning records should be checked, as by default they are government reportable. Change the Government Reportable indicator for any warning records which should not be reported to 'X' using STAF1250. All records (with the exception of those set to 'X') are checked again when the government submission snapshot is run. Records which are 'Not Reportable' (N) at this stage are omitted from the government submission snapshot. Warning records can be viewed in the Reset Government Reportable Indicator form (STAF1250).

The following describes the process by which the value for the Government Reportable indicator for each record in the Enrolments Statistics snapshot is determined. Form labels (e.g. ENRF3000) indicate locations where data could be checked.

A record in the Enrolments Statistics snapshot always has its Government Reportable indicator set to 'N' (government reportable) when its EFTSU value = 0, otherwise:

A record in the Enrolments Statistics snapshot has its Government Reportable indicator set to 'Y' (government reportable) when:

A record in the Enrolments Statistics snapshot has its Government Reportable indicator set to 'N' (not government reportable) when any of the following apply:

A record in the Enrolments Statistics snapshot has its Government Reportable indicator set to 'W' (warning) when:
