This form is used by a system specialist to customise the error messages displayed to users in pop-up alert windows. Where a User Error Message is recorded for an error, it will display in the pop-up alert window. An extra button, 'Help', will also be displayed. Selecting this button displays the original system error message. Where a User Explanation is recorded for an error, selecting the Help button will display this extra information. The use of this form is fully documented in custom.htm - Message Customisation in the Technical Documentation accompanying Callista. Alert messages other than those related to system errors are maintained using the Maintain System Message form (GENF0003). |
