Enrolment Form Extract Creation ENRJ3161 |
Extract Process |
This job has been developed to a specification provided by Deakin University to demonstrate one possible customised output solution for the creation of enrolment forms. It is the subject of an example of customised output in the release Technical Documentation. It accesses, via enrolment form extract views (refer to ENRJ3161), data written to generic extract tables by ENRJ3161. The data is used to create a pipe delimited text file for processing and printing of enrolment forms by third party software. |
Run Details |
Method ENRJ3164 runs only in batch mode, through the Job Control & Scheduling subsystem.Place in cycle This job must be run after ENRJ3161, in the same run request. The job does not require the specification of run parameters. Instead, it is able to recognise that the output records from the most recent run instance of ENRJ3161 are the records which it is required to process. (Refer to Extract Creation Processes for an overview of this methodology.)Obtaining the extract file The extract file is output to a directory specified by the 'OUTPUT' environment variable. See your system administrator/IT specialist for local information regarding access to this file. |
