Unit Internal Course Level

Explanation
Some institutions use a 'weighting' system, applied to study units, to model resource allocation to their organisational units. The name Unit Internal Course Level refers to an attribute assigned to a unit for internal institution purposes where the value is determined according to the type and year level of course being undertaken. The table below illustrates a possible application of this concept.
Example
This table describes the grouping of units in terms of course level for WEFTSU, where

WEFSTU = EFTSU * discipline.funding_index * unit_course_level.factor.
