Explanation |

User-defined industry sectors may provide definition for one or more course versions. These industry sectors are defined by user-defined industry groups (which will map to government-defined industry groups). The industry sector information recorded against a course version is used for establishing funding targets and determining funding allocations. |

Note the Industry Sector Code defined by the institution may or may not replicate the Industry Group Code to which it is mapped. Similarly, it will be likely that more than one Industry Sector Code is mapped to an Industry Group Code. | |||
