The process automatically creates an extract of information for an academic transcript.

The extract is used by CORF2540, to create the appropriate academic transcript/s for students.

The extract is used by CORF2540 to create the appropriate academic transcripts for students. Note should be taken of the request number for the job, as it is required for CORF2540.

  

Run Details

 The job is run in batch mode when required. This would normally be towards the end of a teaching period or academic year.

 

Job Parameters

 Job parameters are used to:

  • Limit the set of students for which academic transcripts are produced.
  • Limit the set of data to be reported in the academic transcript.
    • Transcript Type - select one of the institution defined academic transcript templates available.
    • Include FAIL Grades - if set to N (NO), excludes all unit attempt outcomes with a system result type of FAIL. Defaults to YES (Y).
    • Enrolled Units - the transcript shows completed units and enrolled unit attempts from prior academic years. This parameter allows the user to also display the current academic year's enrolled units, current and future units that may have been recorded through pre-enrolment or to exclude any current or future units from appearing on the transcript. Defaults to current academic year only.
    • Exclude Research Units - select whether to exclude research units from research courses in the transcript. Defaults to NO (N).
    • Exclude Unit Category - can be used to exclude particular institution defined unit categories from being displayed on the transcript. For example: government non-reportable units. Defaults to ALL unit categories to be included.
    • Extract Course Code - enter a course code to restrict transcripts produced to only those details related to the specified course code for the group of students defined in the first group of parameters.
    • Include Related Courses - if an extract course code has been defined, selecting Y (YES) displays details of any courses that may be related to the specified course code. Course group types are defined in the Maintain Course Group Types form (CRSF1180).
    • Internal Sort Order - select whether to display results within a transcript ordered by course or year. Defaults to year.
    • Multiple Record Sort Order - when producing transcripts for a number of students, select whether to order the transcripts by surname, organisational unit or location. Defaults to surname.
