Explanation

Use this form to record and maintain Government Honours Level codes and descriptions as specified by the Government. These codes are mapped to institution defined honours levels (using GRDF1800) which are then used to specify the honours level of graduands in the Graduation subsystem.

The Honours Level button navigates to the Maintain Honours Level form in context of the selected Government honours level record.

Rules/Notes:

Once mapped to an institution defined Honours Level, a Government Honours Level cannot be deleted. Selecting its Closed check box prevents any further use, however a Government honours level cannot be closed if an open institution honours level is mapped to it.
