STAF1126 - Maintain State Funding Source Mapping

Purpose

To map a 'State' level Government Funding Source to a 'National' level Government Funding Source.

This form is used by Administration staff to map a 'State' level Government Funding Source to a 'National' level Government Funding Source. (Government Funding Sources are assigned a National level in the Maintain Government Funding Source form (STAF1127).)

Universities use Government Funding Sources to report to Government. The codes for reporting this data are specified on the relevant Government documentation.

This form is accessed:

  • via the Maintain Government Funding Source form (STAF1127) in context of a National level Government Funding Source.
  • from the main menu.

 

The National Funding Source block contains:

  • National Funding Source (LOV)
  • Description
  • Sector

The State Funding Source block contains:

  • State Funding Source (LOV)
  • Description (display only)
  • State Funding Source Code (display only)
  • Sector (display only)

Rules/Notes:

The fields in the National Funding Source block display details of the National Funding Source created in the Maintain Government Funding source form (STAF1127).

The LOV on the National Funding Source field is only available when you access this form from the main menu.

A CLOSED lamp is displayed if the National Govt Funding Source or State Govt Funding Source is closed.

The code displayed in the State Funding Source Code field is reported to Government as the State Funding Source - State Identifier.

Validations:

  • A State level Govt Funding Source can be mapped to only one National level Govt Funding Source.
