INQF1110
- Person Address Inquiry
This form is used to enquire on Address details for a Person.
It is accessed from the Person Inquiry form (INQF1A00) via the Addresses button.
To Enquire on a Person's Address Details
1. Go to the Person Inquiry form (INQF1A00).
2. Perform a query to find the required person.
3. Click on the Addresses button.
4. The Person Address Inquiry form (INQF1110) is displayed. It is divided into three blocks:
- Person
Displays information about the Person for whom addresses are displayed.
Queries cannot be performed in this block. To see the addresses of a different
Person it is necesary to return to the Person Inquiry screen (INQF1A00) (by clicking
the Exit button in the toolbar) and perform a new query there. (Person details displayed here are derived from the Maintain Person Details form (ADMF1213).)
- Correspondence
Address
The current address and any past Correspondence addresses are displayed
here. Only one Correspondence Address is current at any given time. The present
Correspondence Address is the one without an End Date. Address details are sourced from the Maintain Person Address Details form (ENRF3030).
The display
order of Correspondence addresses in this screen is current address first, followed
by future-dated addresses, followed by historical addresses in reverse date
order.
- Other
Addresses
All addresses other than Correspondence addresses are displayed
in this block. A Person can have more than one current Other Address. Address details are sourced from the Maintain Person Address Details form (ENRF3030).
The Address Details displayed may vary depending on the Address Type
of the selected record. For example, an internal institution address requires
different details to an overseas postal address. Where more than one Correspondence
or Other ddress is recorded for a Person it is necessary to scroll through
the records by clicking on one of the Address Types and clicking on the Next
or Previous Record buttons.
Field Details:
- Person
ID - Identification number of a Person recorded in Callista. A Person may
or may not be a student.
- Address Type - Determines what information should be included in an address. For example,
an overseas address may not require a Postcode (as an Australian address does)
but will require specification of a country. Different Address Types are created
to record these different requirements. The Address Details displayed depends
on the Address Type of the record.
- Start
Date - Date from which the address is/was effective.
- End
Date - Date on which the address ceased to be effective. An address with
no End Date is a current address.
To Exit the Person Address Inquiry Screen
1. Click on the Exit button on the toolbar, to return
to the previous screen.
2. Select 'Exit Forms' from the Action menu to end your
Inquiry session.
