Creates a file containing details of student attempts in unit offering instances that are over quota

This job produces a file containing the details of students that are enrolled in units that are over quota. Quotas for a Unit Offering are recorded in CRSF2500. Whether these quotas take effect is determined by the System Wide Quota Restriction rule (defined via RULF2001) and the unit's Unit Quotas Restriction rule (defined via CRSF2700).

UNIT-RULES todos are not considered by this job and will not be deleted when it is run. No Student Unit Attempts in Unit Offerings that are over quota will have their SUA status changed. All such Student Unit Attempts, as determined by the job parameters, will be included in the output file generated by this job. It is expected that after running this job institutions will make decisions regarding which students will be allowed to continue their enrolment in the over-allocated unit offerings.

Student Unit Attempts are included if the following conditions apply:

• The SUA matches the parameters defined the job parameter form
• The SUA status is ENROLLED or INVALID
• Unit Quota checking is activated for the unit
• The Unit Offering Option is over quota, or would be if all INVALID units for the SUA were ENROLLED.

The output file is named enrj0020.csv and contains a header record which names the fields in each record. The file itself is tab delimited and contains the following information: Unit Code, Version, Location, Class, Academic Period, Teaching Period, Enrolment Quota, Number of Enrolments, Number of INVALID units, Person ID, Person Surname, Person Given Names, Course Code, SUA Enrolled Date, Date of Original Enrolment, SUA Status, SUA Update on, Rule Waived Date, Rule Waived Comments, Rule Breach Date.

The Create Units Over Quota File block contains:

• Academic Calendar
  This parameter restricts the unit offerings checked to a particular academic calendar.
• Teaching Period
  By selecting a value in this field you are further restricting the unit offerings checked to a particular teaching calendar related to the Academic Calendar already selected. By default, ALL teaching calendars(%) are examined.
• Unit Code
  By selecting a value in this field you are restricting the quota checking to a particular unit version. By default, ALL units (%) are examined.

Rules/Notes:

Note: The Academic Calendar must be specified.

When the System Wide Quota Restriction rule (defined via RULF2001) = 'Quotas off -system wide - no override' then the message: 'Quotas have been switched off system wide with no overrides allowed the file will not be produced ' is written to the job log.
