Use this function to maintain institution-defined Occupation Type values. Each institution-defined value must map to Government Occupation Type value for reporting purposes. See Understanding VET Statistics for details. The following are examples of Occupation Types:

To create a new institution defined Occupation type:
|
Rules/Notes: More than one active institution defined Occupation Type can exist for each Government Occupation type. Institution-defined Occupation codes MUST be unique.

To modify a institution defined Occupation Type:
|
Rules/Notes: Once in use, an institution-defined Occupation Type should not be modified. |
To delete a institution defined Occupation Type:
|
Rules/Notes: An Occupation Type cannot be deleted if it has been used in a Course Occupation Type record. An Occupation Type can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box.
