The overriding of a student's Seat Allocation in an Examination can be required for a number of reasons. For example, where two students are suspected of collusion and the System has seated them side by side. The recording and updating of a student's timeslot or duration is performed in Syllabus Plus or similar and is updated via the Exam Timetabling Interface. This information cannot be entered directly in Callista. The timeslot and duration details are provided for scheduled exams where students may only need to make brief attendance. For example, a music exam may be scheduled for three hours. However, each student may only be required for fifteen minutes within the three hours. By recording the student's timeslot and duration, appointments can be scheduled for each student. The Examination Attendance details are recorded from the Attendance Rolls that have been completed and returned by the Exam Supervisor. This form is used to record those students who failed to attend their examination.
