This form enables institutions to configure the field positions of elements in the PRISMS CSV file. This file contains data extracted from the PRISMS Information system. The ADMJ3210 job is run to upload the data into Callista SMS.

Using this form, institutions can update the field positions of elements in the PRISMS CSV file by defining the column numbers for the elements in this form. The column numbers are used in the import of data when running ADMJ3210 and identify the PRISMS File Element, for example, if the Course Code is the fifth field in the PRISMS CSV file then the number 5 is entered in the PRISMS File Element Position field in this form.

The PRISMS CSV file contains more than 60 file elements. However, only the field positions of the following CSV PRISMS File Elements are configurable via this form:

PRISM File Element PRISM File Element Code

This form is accessed from the Main Menu.

PRISMS File Import Configuration block:

  • PRISMS File Element Code
  • Description
  • PRISMS File Element Position

Rules/Notes:

Only the PRISMS File Element Position field is updateable.

The PRISMS File Element Code and Description fields are display-only fields.

PRISMS File Elements are sorted (in ascending order) by PRISMS File Element Position.

Note:
The PRISMS Information system is the source of ESOS Student Visa Holder data. It provides a means for education and training providers to comply with legislative requirements by:

  • issuing bona fide confirmations of enrolments (COE) as 'evidence of enrolment' in a registered full-time course, as required for the issue of a student visa by DIAC, and
  • reporting changes in course enrolment, particularly where study ceases (non-compliance), or the duration of the study changes. PRISMS also facilitates the monitoring of student compliance with visa conditions, as well as provider compliance with the ESOS Act.
