Purpose

To maintain institution-specific definitions for system-defined Secondary Subject Statuses.

ADMF0410 is used to maintain an institution-specific definition of Secondary Subject Statuses.

Note: While institutions can define their own secondary subject statuses, each secondary school subject is linked to one of the following system-defined Secondary Subject Statuses:

• INACTIVE
• PLANNED
• ACTIVE

Rules/Notes:

Subjects with a System Status of INACTIVE cannot be used in the definition of Unit Version Rules and cannot be recorded against a student.

Subjects with a System Status of PLANNED can be used in the definition of Unit Version Rules but cannot be recorded against a student.

Subjects with a System Status of ACTIVE can be used in the definition of Unit Version Rules and can be recorded against a student.

Records are sorted by SECONDARY_SUBJECT_STATUS.

A Closed System Secondary Subject Status cannot be mapped to an Institution defined Secondary Subject Status.
