Government Training Provider Types are mapped to institution-defined values and are recorded for a Location. Government Training Provider Types are reported in the NAT00020 Training Provider Location File. This form sets up Government requirements for ORGF0119 - Maintain Training Provider Type.

This form is accessed through the main menu.

 

The Government Training Provider Type block contains:

  • Govt Training Provider Type
  • Description
  • Closed check box

 Rules/Notes:

To create a new Government Training Provider Type:

  • Enter Insert mode.
  • Enter the new code in the Government Training Provider Type field of a blank record.
  • Enter the corresponding description for the Government Training Provider Type in the Description field.
  • Save.

Rules/Notes:

Government Training Provider Types MUST be unique. 

To modify a Government Training Provider Type:

  • Find the record to be modified.
  • Modify the record as required.
  • Save.

Rules/Notes:

Once in use, an Government Training Provider Type should not be modified.

To delete a Government Training Provider Type:

  • Find the record to be deleted.
  • Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted.
  • Delete record.
  • Save.

Rules/Notes:

A Government Training Provider Type cannot be deleted if it has been used in a Training Provider Type record. It can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box.
