Government Prior Education Types are mapped to institution-defined values and are recorded for Person Prior Education Achievements. Government Prior Education Types are reported in the NAT00100 Client Prior Educational Achievement File. This form sets up Government requirements for ENRF01T0 - Maintain Prior Education Type.

This form is accessed through the main menu.

Rules/Notes:

To create a new Government Prior Education Type:

Enter Insert mode.
Enter the new code in the Government Prior Education Type field of a blank record.
Enter the corresponding description for the Government Prior Education Type in the Description field.
Save.

Rules/Notes:

Government Prior Education Codes MUST be unique.

To modify a Government Prior Education Type:

Find the record to be modified.
Modify the record as required.
Save.

Rules/Notes:

Once in use, an Government Prior Education Type should not be modified.

To delete a Government Prior Education Type:

Find the record to be deleted.
Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted,
Delete record.
Save.

Rules/Notes:

A Government Prior Education Type cannot be deleted if it has been used in a Person Prior Educational Achievement record. It can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box.
