Maintain Web Style Element

This form is used to create and maintain web style elements for application to Callista Connect web pages

A style element is an optional attribute of a web style. A pre-existing footer template, header template, or inline style definition web element may be applied to a style to create a style element. When the style is applied to a web page, the page inherits the characteristics of the style element/s globally, via SSFF1200, or individually through the PE-PREF application.

A feature of this form is the ability to replace style elements. When web elements are created, the option is included to Override Style. If this override style indicator is unchecked for an element in a page, a style element can be applied to the element defining the look of the element and this 'look' cannot be overridden by the global or individual style. For example: a font is inserted into a page and an inline style is applied to it defining the text as green. It is then decided that some user's have trouble viewing the green text. For a particular style, an inline style element can be set defining font colour. If the inline style defining the green font is selected as the replacement element, any user who selects the style has the green font replaced with the styles font regardless of the Override Style indicator effecting the web element.
