Person Residence Statistics

This application allows students to enter current residence codes pertaining to their Person Statistics record.  It is accessed via a link, when an address flagged for Person Statistics is changed via Student Connect.  It displays the student’s Person ID and name details. It will also display the old records (current person statistics residence values) of the Person Statistics Residence Codes and allow for new values to be entered, for:

• Home Residence Postcode or Home Residence Country
• Semester Residence Postcode or Semester Residence Country
  

Any new values submitted will be validated using current person statistics validations.

The submission of Person Statistics Residence Codes, after successful validation, will cause a new record to be inserted in the PERSON_STATISTICS table. All data in the person statistics previous record will be duplicated in the new record except for the Residence Codes. The values for the Residence Codes will be provided from this application. The previous Person Statistics record will be end dated with yesterday's date.  The Start Date of the new record will be today’s date.

Validations:

• Only one of Home Residence Postcode and Home Residence Country may be stored.
• Only one of Semester Residence Postcode and Semester Residence Country may be stored.
