Anchor web elements are used as the Link Web Element Code for applications in the Maintain Self Serve Application Data form (SSFF1300). For more details on the creation of web pages refer to the specialist topic Understanding the Web Administrator. |

For example: font is inserted for the link, the font tags are included (eg. <FONT>anchor</FONT>) and the indicator is not selected, the text will display as <FONT>anchor</FONT>. If the indicator is selected, the text is displayed without its tags. The indicator is only used where HTML tags are entered in the property block. If tags are not recorded in the property block, the indicator does not need to be selected. 8. If the Style Override indicator is selected, the global or individual style overrides any inline style elements applied to the anchor. If the Style Override is de-selected, an inline style applied to the anchor overrides the global or individual style for the element unless it has been listed as a replacement element in the global or individual style. 9. Select the Closed indicator to prevent further use of the web anchor. 10. Unwanted web anchor elements can be removed by selecting the Delete button. |
Rules/Notes: A web anchor element cannot be deleted if it is currently being used in a web page. |
