SCHF1100 - Maintain Scholarship Application Rank

Enables a Rank and Marks to be recorded against a Student's Scholarship Application

This form is accessed through Student Scholarship Application from SCHF1000, via the Application Ranking button (bottom block).

This form enables a user to define Rank Types against a Student Scholarship Application at a number of different Ranking Levels. It also enables to user to record Marks against the Rank Type.

For example, a Student has a Scholarship Application with a Status of PENDING or RECEIVED within an Admission Period - User enters this form in context and is able to define a Rank Type and a Rank - User also has the ability to enter a Scaled Mark, Honours Mark or Thesis Percentage.

 

The Student Scholarship Application block contains:

  • Person ID
  • Course Code
  • Scholarship Type
  • Admission Period
  • Start Date
  • End Date

The Scholarship Application Ranking block contains:

  • Rank Type
  • Org Unit
  • Org Unit Start Date
  • Rank
  • Scaled Mark
  • Honours Mark
  • Thesis Percentage

Rules/Notes:

 

To create a new Scholarship Application Rank:

  • Enter Insert mode
  • Enter the relevant details in the Scholarship Application Ranking Block
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

The selected Rank type cannot be closed.

The selected Organisational Unit must be active.

The selected Organisational Unit must have a valid start date and end date.

A record cannot be inserted or updated when the scholarship application status has a system value other than RECEIVED or PENDING.

If the 'Allow Duplicates' indicator of the rank type is N then the rank given to the student must be unique across the rank type, org unit and admission period.

Organisational Unit details cannot be NULL when the system value for rank type = ORG-UNIT.

Organisational Unit details cannot be NULL when the system value for rank type = INST-WIDE.
  To modify a Scholarship Application Rank:
  • Find the record to be modified
  • Modify the record as required
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

 

To delete a Scholarship Application Rank:

  • Find the record to be deleted
  • Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted
  • Delete record
  • Save
