Scholarships

This form is used to record Scholarship Application Statuses, which are mapped to Government and System Application Statuses. The Scholarship Application Status that is recorded here is used within the Maintain Student Scholarship Application form SCHF1000.

The Government and System Scholarship Application Statuses are defined at table level, and they are used within Scholarship validations and Jobs.

An Institution can have multiple Scholarship Application Statuses mapped to a Government and System Scholarship Application Status.

The Scholarship Application Status block contains:

• Scholarship Application Status
• Description
• System Scholarship Application Status
• Govt Scholarship Application Status
• System Default check box
• Closed check box

Rules/Notes:

To create a new Scholarship Application Status:

• Enter Insert mode
• Enter the new code in the Scholarship Application Status field of a blank record
• Enter the corresponding description for the Scholarship Application Status in the Description field
• Enter the System Scholarship Application Status this Application Status maps to
• Save

Rules/Notes:

For each group of records that have the same System Scholarship Application Status, one and only one System Default check box must be set.

System Scholarship Application Status cannot be closed.

Government Scholarship Application Status cannot be closed.

• Find the record to be modified
• Modify the record as required
• Save

Rules/Notes:

Once in use, a Scholarship Application Status should not be modified.

To delete a Scholarship Application Status:

• Find the record to be deleted
• Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted
• Delete record
• Save

Rules/Notes:

A Scholarship Application Status can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box.
