Prize Criteria

 

The purpose of this form is to record information pertaining to the selection criteria for specific prizes at an institution. It supports the business processes associated with the specification and correspondence of prize criteria, in addition to recording the appropriate details to support distribution of correspondence detailing prize criteria to donors, potential applicants, recipients, and other interested parties.

Note: The information recorded in this form is not used by automated functions for determining potential prize recipients.

This form is accessed from the main menu or PRZF0100 (Maintain Prize Details).

 

The Prize Detail block contains:

  • Prize Code
  • Status
  • Prize Name

The Prize Criteria block contains:

  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Criteria
  • Correspondence Criteria

Rules/Notes:

Use this form to record information pertaining to prize criteria as well as information to support the correspondence of the criteria specified. The following information is recorded against the context prize:

  • Start Date - The prize criteria start date
  • End Date - The prize criteria end date
  • Criteria - The criteria pertaining for the prize
  • Correspondence Criteria - this is the prize criteria information that is communicated to donors, potential applicants, recipients and other interested parties via prizes correspondence.

Rules/Notes:

The Prize Criteria end date must be greater than or equal to the start date.

The Prize Criteria start date must not be less than the Prize Detail start date.

A Prize Criteria record cannot be deleted once its start date has passed.

A Prize Criteria record cannot be end dated without creating a new Prize Criteria record that starts the day after the latest end-dated record, unless the prize detail record is end dated.

Only one Prize Criteria record can be effective at any point of time between the Prize Record's start date and end date.

If multiple Prize Criteria records exist, the records must be consecutively dated. There must be no gaps between the end date of one record and the start date of the next record.
