What the Person ID Groups Facility Does

The Person ID Groups facility is used to manage groups of people who share a common link. Key functions in this management process are:

  • Copying existing groups to form new groups

Individual institutions determine how the Person ID Groups facility is applied to their business practices. Users are responsible for the creation of person ID groups. The level of security access granted to other users is determined by the group creator.

Person ID groups are used to link people with a common theme. For example: grouping students with black hair.

Person ID groups are used where a report is to be run for a number of people. Callista utilises person ID groups in upcoming functionality dealing with bulk transfer processing of information.
