Purpose

To record welfare arrangement details for ESOS students who are under the age of 18.

This form is used to record student welfare details for ESOS students who are under the age of 18 and for whom the institution has taken on responsibility for approving welfare arrangements.

Institutions are required to record these details as part of their National Code 2007 obligations. (The National Code 2007 became effective on 1 July 2007 and replaces the Code established in 2001 under the ESOS Act.) 

This form is accessed from the Record Enrolments (ENRF3000) form via the Welfare button in context of the person.

Person block:

• Person ID

• Type of Stay Code
• Description
• Start Date
• End Date
• Comments

Rules/Notes:

Type of Stay Code - Derived from ENRF0141. This is the type of accommodation arranged for the student.

Start Date - The date from which the institution accepts responsibility for the welfare arrangements of the student. This field is mandatory.

End Date - The date on which the institution's responsibility ends and it is no longer responsibile for the welfare arrangements of the student. This field is mandatory.

You must enter both a Start Date and an End Date for each record.

The Comments field is optional.
