Teaching Responsibility Override

This form is used when Teaching Responsibility details for a Unit Offering Option are different from the standard Unit Version Teaching Responsibility established in the Maintain Teaching Responsibility form (CRSF2220). For example, an Organisational Unit has Teaching Responsibility for a Unit Version on all except one campus. This form is used to record the organisational unit(s) with Teaching Responsibility for offerings of the unit on that campus.

Where Teaching Responsibility Overrides exists, the System uses those values rather than the Unit Version Teaching Responsibility values when deriving Student Unit Attempt load (EFTSL) and Organisational Unit Teaching load.

For further details on the Teaching Responsibilities, refer to the Course Structure and Planning overview.

This form can be accessed through the main menu or through the Unit Offering button in the lower block of CRSF2210, then the Unit Offering Option button in CRSF2310, then the Teaching Responsibility Overrides button in CRSF2500.

The Unit Offering Option block contains:

  • Unit Code
  • Version Number
  • Sector
  • Unit Status
  • Title
  • Calendar Type
  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Location
  • Unit Class

The Teaching Responsibility Override block contains:

  • Override Org Unit
  • Org Unit Start Date
  • Description
  • Percentage

The Override Organisational Unit can be entered by either:

  • Recording a known organisational unit code; or
  • Selecting an Organisational Unit from the LOV.

The Percentage of Teaching Responsibility for the Organisational Unit is recorded.

Rules/Notes:

Override Organisational Unit Percentages must total 100%.

Cannot insert an Organisational Unit more than once.
