Use this page to maintain institution-defined Communication Categories that may be used within the Communication subsystem.
Communication Categories defined here are available for selection in pages such as CORW0500 and can be used to group Substitution Tags and Communication Templates used for similar reasons. For example, by grouping the Substitution Tags and Communication Templates by Categories corresponding to subsystems, such as Enrolments, Admission and Graduations, users can maintain a more organised way to define the Substitution Tags and Communication Templates for use when creating Communications.

A list of Communication Categories is displayed on entry to CORW0600. For a description of how to perform tasks in a list, see the Working with Callista Lists Help page .
The New Template Category page is accessed via the New icon on the Communication Categories page.
To edit or close a specific Communication Category, click on the Communication Category name in the Communication Categories list. The Communication Category's details are then displayed on a new page where details, including membership of the category, can be modified.

To add a Communication Template or Substitution Tag click on the New button in that section and select the appropriate record.
To search for
templates or tags that have already been included in the Category, use the Quick Search or Advanced Search for that section.
In this section add or remove Communication Templates for the Communication Category.
These Communication Categories form a list
which can be searched or sorted.
Communication Template records cannot be modified on this page.
These records are maintained in CORW0500.
