ASSR0680 - Examination Venue Allocation Report

Purpose

This report provides examination details for each Examination Venue specified in the parameters.

For each specified Examination Venue the report provides such details as: the examination location, date, start time, duration, total number of candidates, and supervisor details.

Run Details

This job is run:

  • Prior to the start of each major Examination Period.
  • Throughout Examination Periods to provide documentary evidence of significant changes.
  • As needed for commercial clients.
  • At any time deemed necessary for whatever reason.

It is recommended that this job be run in batch mode. However, it can be run online, particularly where the report is run with parameters specifying a small data set, such as a specific Unit Code.

The Examination Venue Allocation Report block contains:

Parameters tab

  • Examination Period
  • Examination Location
    This parameter has an unrestricted LOV.
    It lists Examination Locations with available venues.
  • Examination Venue.
    The LOVs for this parameter include Examination Venue codes for the specified Examination Location only.
  • Exam Supervisor Type
  • Exam Location Type
  • Covering Letter check box
    Selecting this check box allows Cover Letters to be included. It is likely that Cover Letters would not be printed for internal (CAMPUS) exam locations.
  • Unit Code

  • Introduction
    This text parameters that allow the user to enter data. By default, the text fields will insert the most recently used text. Text messages can be recorded in the Maintain Job Text form (JBSF4170)

  • Signatory
    This text parameters that allow the user to enter data. By default, the text fields will insert the most recently used text.
  • Return Organisational Unit
    This parameter lists which Organisational Unit should be contacted if any errors are found and details of how to contact them. This field is Mandatory.
  • Return Address Type
    This parameter lists which Organisational Unit should be contacted if any errors are found and details of how to contact them. This field is Mandatory

Rules/Notes:

This report is presented in portrait mode.

A valid Return Address Type must be selected for the Organisational Unit.
