ASSF2123 - Maintain Assessment Item Exam Materials

Purpose

To allow the mapping of Exam Material Types to Assessment Items

This form is used to record materials that are allowed, disallowed and supplied for examinations. This information is used to manage the supply of examination materials to students and to advise supervisors and students of material that may/may not be taken into examinations.

The form is accessed via the Maintain Assessment Item form (ASSF2100) buttons:

  • 'Complete List of All Assessment Item Examination Materials' (here after abbreviated to the Complete List button).
  • The Material Category 'List' buttons:
    • Allowable Materials List.
    • Non-Allowable Materials List.
    • Supplied Materials List.

This form is entered in context displaying:

  • All Exam Materials Types in material type order within Material Category, when the Complete List button is selected.
  • Only the Material Types associated with the context Material Category when a List button is selected.

Query's can be performed on the Exam Material Types and new types can be associated with the examinable assessment item.

Exam Material Types are created and maintained in the Maintain Exam Material Types form (ASSF01A0).

 

The Assessment Item block contains:

  • Assessment ID
  • Assessment Type
  • Description
  • Working Time
  • Purusal Time
  • Scheduled check box

The Assessment Item Examination Material block contains:

  • Exam Material Type
  • Description
  • Material Category
  • Quantity Per Student
  • Comments
 

To record a new assessment item Exam Material Type:

  • Select the Exam Material Type.
  • Select the Material Category. This defaults to the context category if the form was entered via one of the three List buttons, however it can be altered.
  • Optionally record the Quantity Per Student where the Material Category is SUPPLIED.

Rules/Notes:

Quantity Per Student can only be set where the System defined Material Category is SUPPLIED.
