Purpose

To allow the recording of institution-defined Enquiry Characteristic Types.

Use this form to record institution defined codes for Enquiry Characteristic Types.

These codes are used to describe the attributes of the applicant. For example: SCHOOL-LEAVER, MATURE-AGE, POSTGRADUATE.

The data maintained in this form is used in the Enquiry Characteristic Type overlay displayed when the Characteristic button is selected in the Record Admission Enquiries form (ADMF1200).

The Enquiry Characteristic Type block contains:

• Enquiry Characteristic Type
• Description
• Closed check box

Rules/Notes:

Once used in the System, Enquiry Characteristic Type Codes cannot be deleted. Select the Closed check box to prevent further use.

Once used in the System, only minor description modifications should be carried out.
