Maintain Image Map

This form is used to create and maintain for image maps used against images in web pages. Image maps are areas of an image that link to other pages within Callista Connect, external web pages or sites.

To set up an image map in a web page an Image Map is applied to an image in the Maintain Image form. The image and the image map (created in the this form) are applied to the web page body in Connect Builder. The image and the image map should be siblings within the web page body. Area tags must also be recorded to define the areas of the image where each link can be accessed. This is done in the Maintain Image Map Area Tag form. Area tags are applied as subordinates of the image map in Connect Builder.

For more details on the creation of web pages refer to the specialist topic Understanding the Web Administrator.
