This form is used to create and maintain horizontal lines for use in web pages.

7. Select the Closed indicator to prevent further use of the horizontal line.

8. Unwanted horizontal lines can be removed by selecting the Delete button.

Rules/Notes:

A horizontal line cannot be deleted if it is currently being used in a web style.

If the Style Override indicator has been selected, any of the style attributes recorded for the horizontal line (Align, color, size etc) are overridden by the person preference or global styles.

The Colour Chooser palette is used to select a colour for the horizontal line. When the Colour Change button is selected, the Colour Chooser window is displayed. Optionally:

  • Select a colour from the colour palette available; or
  • Enter the hexadecimal code for a colour and select the Select Custom Colour button to insert the colour against attribute; or
  • If a colour has previously been recorded for the attribute, it can be cleared by selecting the Clear button. Selecting the Clear button removes any colour reference for the attribute. This is indicated by an exclamation mark in the colour indicator beside the attribute
