Maintain Header Template |
This form is used to maintain header templates for use as properties of web pages created in Connect Builder. A header template can also be associated with a web style to create a web style element (i.e. a web style incorporating a specific header). Every header template to be made available, as a web page property or style element must be assigned a label in this form. 1. Navigate to this form via the Site Map button. 2. Select Current Window to open this form in the current browser window or New Window to open this form in a new browser window. 3. To open the Maintain Header Template window and create a new header template web element:
4. Record details of the header template to be created as a web element. A header element code must be recorded for a new header template element; and cannot be altered when a header template is edited. Header element code:

The Insert Embed Web Element 7. The Tags in Property indicator is used when adding HTML code into the header template and the HTML tags have been inserted. If the indicator is not selected, the data is displayed with the tags in the web page. If the indicator is selected, only the data displays and not the tags. 8. If the Style Override indicator is selected, the global or individual style overrides any inline style elements applied to the header. If the Style Override is unchecked, an inline style applied to the header overrides the global or individual style for the element unless it has been listed as a replacement element in the global or individual style. 9. The Closed indicator prevents further access to the header template and suppresses it from all header LOV's within the web administrator functionality. 10. The Delete button deletes the template element. |
Rules/Notes: A web header template element cannot be deleted if it is currently being used in a web page. |
