The purpose of this function is to maintain Government Outcome Identifiers

Government Outcome Identifiers are mapped to institution-defined values and are recorded for a Grading Schema Grade.

Government Outcome Identifiers are reported in the NAT00120 Enrolment File. This form sets up Government requirements for ASSF01P0 - Maintain Provider Outcome Identifier.

The following are examples of Government Outcome Identifiers:

20 COMPETENCY ACHIEVED/PASS
30 COMPETENCY NOT ACHIEVED/FAIL
40 WITHDRAWN
50 RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
60 CREDIT TRANSFER
70 CONTINUING ENROLMENT
81 NON-ASSESSABLE ENROLMENT - SATISFACTORILY COMPLETED
82 NON-ASSESSABLE ENROLMENT - WITHDRAWN OR NOT SATISFACTORILY COMPLETED

This form is accessed through the main menu.

 

The Government Outcome Identifier block contains:

  • Govt Outcome Identifier
  • Description
  • Closed check box

    • Provider Outcome Identifier (ASSF01P0)
Rules/Notes:

To create a new Government Outcome Identifier:

  • Enter Insert mode
  • Enter the new code in the Government Outcome Identifier field of a blank record
  • Enter the corresponding description for the Government Outcome Identifier in the Description field
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

Government Outcome Identifier Codes MUST be unique. 

To modify a Government Outcome Identifier:

  • Find the record to be modified
  • Modify the record as required
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

Once in use, a Government Outcome Identifier should not be modified.

To delete a Government Outcome Identifier:

  • Find the record to be deleted
  • Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted
  • Delete record
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

A Government Outcome Identifier Code can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box.
