This form is used to record and maintain the set of Course Types determined by the institution. These are comparable to Government Course Types but provide for greater flexibility by permitting classification at a more detailed level and the use of Course Type names specific to individual institutions. Each institution defined Course Type must be mapped to a Government Course Type. Course Type can be mapped to the same Government Course Type.

For example, Government Course Type 10 - Undergraduate Bachelor's Pass could be divided into 10a - Undergraduate Bachelor's Pass - Government Funded and 10b - Undergraduate Bachelor's Pass - Commercial Operations. An institution may have a local name for the Government Course Code 41 - Cross-institution program for undergraduate course, say Shared Program. This could be given a unique code, say SHARED.

Course Type Description Govt Course Type
10a Undergraduate Bachelor's Pass - Government Funded 10
