Purpose

The report provides details of Unit Attempt Outcomes with compatible Mark and Grade. That is, the recorded grade is not within the mark range for the specified grade in the grading schema. An institution may allow the recording of invalid grades, but may or may not allow such grades to be finalised and published. This report allows invalid grades to be identified for resolution.

Run Details

This job is run:

  • At the end of the Assessment Period, during the processing of results.
  • At any time deemed necessary for whatever reason.

This job is run during Assessment Periods to provide information which can be used to:

  • Assist in the resolution of incompatible Marks and Grades within the Unit Attempt Outcomes.

It is recommended that this job be run in batch mode. However, it can be run online, particularly where the report is run with parameters specifying a small data set, such as a specific Unit Code.

    This parameter allows the user to refine the data set to a specified method of entry. For example: KEYED, UPLOAD.
  • Unfinalised/Finalised
    This parameter allows the user to select all invalid grades, unfinalised only or finalised only.
  • Outcome Date range (From/To)
    This parameter allows the user to refine the data set to outcomes recorded within a particular period or after a particular date.
  • Sort By
