Run Details

This job is run:

  • Prior to the start of each major Examination Period.
  • Throughout Examination Periods to provide documentary evidence of significant changes.
  • As needed for commercial clients.
  • At any time deemed necessary for whatever reason.

It is recommended that this job be run in batch mode. However, it can be run online, particularly where the report is run with parameters specifying a small data set, such as a specific Unit Code.

Refer to the Job Control and Scheduling Subsystem for details on scheduling and running batch and online jobs.

 

The Examination Venue Allocation Report block contains:

Parameters tab

  • Examination Period
  • Examination Location
    This parameter contains Examination Locations that have venues that have availabilities. The parameter is an unrestricted LOV
  • Exam Supervisor Type
  • Exam Location Type
  • Covering Letter check box
    Selecting this check box allows Cover Letters to be included. It is likely that Cover Letters would not be printed for internal (CAMPUS) exam locations
  • Unit Code

    This text parameters that allow the user to enter data. By default, the text fields will insert the most recently used text. Text messages can be recorded in the Maintain Job Text form (JBSF4170)
  • Signatory
    This text parameters that allow the user to enter data. By default, the text fields will insert the most recently used text
  • Return Organisational Unit
    This parameter lists which Organisational Unit should be contacted if any errors are found and details of how to contact them. This field is Mandatory
  • Return Address Type
    This parameter lists which Organisational Unit should be contacted if any errors are found and details of how to contact them. This field is Mandatory

Rules/Notes:

Note: The % symbol indicates that the parameter is not considered for processing.

Most parameters for this job are used to refine the data set produced in the report.

A valid Return Address Type must be selected for the Organisational Unit.

This report is presented in portrait mode.
