Use this form to record institution defined Transcript Types.

This form is used to create the available set of Transcript Types used when producing transcripts on-line for individuals or in batch mode for multiple persons.

System Letter Definitions are maintained in the Maintain System Letter form (CORF2520), where each is mapped to a template file.

 

The Transcript Type Definition block contains:

  • Transcript Type
  • Description
  • Closed check box
  • Correspondence Type
  • Letter Ref. Number
  • Description
 

Each Transcript Type is mapped to a System Letter Definition, identified by a Correspondence Type and Letter Ref Number.

Rules/Notes:

Once a Transcript Type has been created, its System Letter Definition mapping cannot be updated.

Only System Letter Definitions with a System Reference Type of TRN can be used.

Once used in the System, Transcript Types should not be deleted. Select the Closed check box to prevent further use.
