Purpose

To find a Unit Assessment Pattern

This form is used to query existing Assessment Patterns to assist in the manual selection and allocation of patterns and items to Student Unit Attempts.

The form is accessed via the Inquire on Unit Assessment Pattern button in the Maintain Student Unit Assessment Patterns form (ASSF3221). When entering the form in this way, the Assessment Patterns are displayed in context. That is, all pre-existing Assessment Patterns for the context Unit Offering Option are displayed along with the attached assessment items.

The Unit Assessment Pattern block contains:

• Assessment Pattern Code
• Description
• Default Pattern check box
• Logical Delete Date

The Unit Assessment Pattern Item block contains:

• Assessment Item ID
• Assessment Type
• Reference
• Examinable check box
• Scheduled check box
• Due Date
• Percentage Apportion
• Description
• Exam Calendar Type
• Instance

Highlight the required Assessment Pattern. Select the OK button to return to ASSF3221 and save to allocate the Assessment Pattern to the Student Unit Attempt.

Rules/Notes:

A CRS RESTRCTN lamp is displayed next to assessment items in the highlighted Assessment Pattern that are not valid for the Student Unit Attempt due to a Course Type restriction.

For example, an Assessment Item has been established for a Postgraduate Course Type while the Students Unit Attempt is part of an Undergraduate Course Type.
