To allow the recording of institution defined Exam Material Types

Structure Block Examination Material Type

 

Use this form to record institution defined Exam Material Types.

They are items that may be supplied to students sitting examinations, or which they may be allowed or not allowed to take into examinations. Supplied, allowed and not allowed Material Types for each examination are recorded in the Maintain Assessment Item Exam Materials form (ASSF2123).

Examples of Exam Material Types are:

  • Calculator
  • Notes
  • Dictionary
  • Text Book and
  • Script Books

 

The Examination Material Type block contains:

  • Exam Material Type
  • Description
  • Closed check box
  • Comments
  

 

Rules:

Once used in the System, Exam Material Types cannot be deleted. Select the Closed check box to prevent further use.

Once used in the System, only minor description modifications should be carried out.
