Governance Document Library
This library is the only approved source of Charles Darwin University governance documents (policies and procedures). These govern University activities, including education, research, and operational matters relating to property and campuses, IT, and health and safety.
All governance documents must be developed and reviewed in accordance with the Governance Document Framework. Please notify policy@cdu.edu.au of any errors or suggestions, or to revise or develop a governance document.
The University operates in accordance with all relevant legislation, including the Charles Darwin University Act 2003, Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021, VET Quality Framework, and Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000.
CDU staff should ensure they are familiar with the Delegations Framework. The Delegations Framework augments the Governance Document Library and defines authority for different decisions and activities across the University.
