Artificial Intelligence (AI) could become a crucial asset to fight the growing global risk of cybercrime, a new study with Charles Darwin University (CDU) has found.

The study, led by researchers from CDU’s Energy and Resources Institute alongside Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies in India, examined if generative AI (GenAI) could be used in penetration testing, known as pentesting, which is a cybersecurity exercise aimed at identifying weak spots in a system’s defences.

Charles Darwin University (CDU) is a step closer to establishing a home-grown medical school with a new curriculum partnership with Western Sydney University signed.

CDU Vice-Chancellor Professor Scott Bowman AO and Western Sydney University Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Barney Glover AO signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) giving the CDU School of Medicine access to Western’s School of Medicine curriculum. The partnership also includes curriculum support, guidance, and mentoring.

Preparing for a driving exam can be a nerve-wracking experience, but a Charles Darwin University (CDU) international student is developing technology to help students prepare for the test in the NT.

CDU Master of Software Engineering student Jade Doan is in the design stages of an application called ‘NT Driver’s License Helper’, which can help people who are unfamiliar to the Territory’s road rules and want a convenient way to improve their knowledge.
