Target audience:  This event is open for public. RSVP is preferred but not essential.

The 17th May is an important day in the calendar as it celebrates International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT).  Here at CDU, following on from our very successful  event last year, we are planning to broaden our inclusivity and bring another entertaining, insightful and delicious production.

When? 12-2pm 17th may 2018 (set up from 11am)

Where? Mal Nairn Auditorium @CDU Casuarina Campus
What? As well as the many talents of Vogue MegaQueen, direct from:
  • Drag Territory, we have been fortunate to secure four amazing guest speakers:
  • Sally Sievers, Anti-Discrimination Commissioner, NT
  • Meredith Parry, Deputy Vice Chancellor CDU
  • Dr Danielle Stewart, Northside Health NT, and
  • Louisa Manning-Watson, NT QUTE

And lots more!!

The theme for this year’s event is “Alliances for Solidarity” and we many local organsiation setting up stalls including headspace, Darwin Pride, Ruby Gaea, NTAHC, Family Planning Association NT, Women's Action Committee, Northside Health NT, NT Police Community and Youth Engagement, and Drag Territory.

The event will be beamed via conference to all CDU campuses, and there will be cupcakes available via gold coin donation (proceeds donated to Minus 18, Australia’s youth driven network for LGBTIQ youth), and a light lunch made available.

It is a free event with light refreshments available as well.
