The Yolŋu Aboriginal people are one of many groups of Indigenous people in the Northern Territory of Australia.
They come from a great many different places and language groups in Northeast Arnhem Land some of which are marked on the map. They celebrate a long history of connections with the outside world.
Their work with CDU started with a program for teaching Yolŋu languages and culture, and led on to collaborative research and consultancy work. More recently their work has been loosely organised through the Yolŋu Aboriginal Consultancy Initiative
