Hyperlinks in Inquiry Help screens
Two types of hyperlink are used in the Inquiry Help:
Text links are 'clickable' pieces of text which link to related information. Common text links are:
Links to help about screens | These may be links using the screen's name (e.g. Person Address Inquiry screen) or the screens ID code (e.g. INQF1110). |
Links to more detailed information | Individual pieces of text, pictures or parts of pictures may contain links to more information. Text containing hyperlinks is generally a different colour to surrounding text and underlined (e.g. the words 'navigation map' in the following paragraph). Pictures containing hyperlinks cause the cursor to change to a different shape when it passes over the hyperlink's location. |
Graphic links are 'clickable' pictures. Different areas of the picture (hotspots) may link to different destinations. When the cursor is passed over a hotspot, the cursor changes to indicate that clicking there will activate a link. The Inquiry help navigation map is a typical example of a 'clickable' picture.
