Person ID Groups Glossary

The terms used in the Person ID Groups facility are described below. The relationships between data, and concepts used in this facility, are explained in detail in the Understanding Person ID Groups section.

FIELD NAME OR TERM		DESCRIPTION
Create Date		is the date and time the Person ID Group was created
Delete indicator		controls whether the person has security permission to delete records in the Person ID Group. Setting the indicator (checked) grants permission
Encumbered indicator		specifies whether or not the person has an encumbrance currently applied to their record
Enrolled indicator		specifies whether or not the person is currently enrolled in a course at the institution
Group Code		is the code defined by the creator of the Person ID Group
Group ID		is a unique system generated sequence number to identify the Person ID Group
Insert indicator		controls whether the person has security permission to insert records into the Person ID Group. Setting the indicator (checked) grants permission
Person ID Group		is a group of people with a common link
Person ID Group Member		a person listed in a Person ID group
Person ID Group Security		allows users other than the creator to be granted permission to insert, update or delete the records from the Person ID Group
Staff indicator		specifies whether or not the person is a staff member at the institution
Student indicator		specifies whether or not the person is a student at the institution
Update indicator		controls whether the person has security permission to update records in the Person ID Group. Setting the indicator (checked) grants permission
