Update Process |
The System Log is used by many Callista jobs to note those records which the job was unable to process (exceptions). The Log can then be accessed by the jobs' exception reports to retrieve the unprocessed records, enabling them to be reported to the user, along with their respective error/warning messages. This job is used to remove from the System Log, entries which have been recorded there for greater than a specified period of time. For example, the job could be run nightly to delete all System Log entries older than 28 days. |
