Upload Student Unit Attempt Outcomes Exception Report - ASSR5340

Purpose	This exception report can be produced as a result of processing a file of student unit attempt outcomes through the System. It can also be reproduced by starting the report directly and entering the creation date of the existing report as a parameter. The report lists all exceptions to validations encountered while processing the file.

Run Details

This report is run automatically when a file of student unit attempt outcomes is uploaded using the Validate Electronic Outcome Upload File form (ASSF5340).

The Exception Report

The output is printed on the user's default Windows environment printer but can be specified by the user. The report lists each failed validation encountered while validating the records in the upload file. For each exception reported, a message detailing the exception is included. If fatal errors or errors preventing records from being loaded are reported, they must be rectified before attempting to re-validate the file. Summary statistics indicate the number of errors, warnings encountered and the number of records successfully validated.
