Job Parameters |
Most parameters for this job are used to
refine the data set produced in the report. The report can be run for both DRAFT and
FINAL examination timetables. Select whether or not to include:
The "NONCENTRAL"
Location/Venue Override Text parameter allows the recording of a short
message directing the student to the notes. For example: a faculty is linked
to the noncentral location. However, the exam is being managed by the unit
chair. A note can be recorded informing the student who their contact person
is. A message can be recorded here telling the student to refer to notes for
further details. There are two free text parameters
available - Notes 1 and Notes 2. These parameters have default
text messages inserted where no additions are entered. Text messages can be
recorded in the Maintain Job Text form (JBSF4170). The Sessions to Include parameter
allows the report to be run for:
NOTE: unit offering option details are
suppressed except where differing offering options have different exam
requirements. There are several sort combinations that can be selected from the LOV. |

The report is presented in landscape mode. Note: where venue sessions have been split
for several different sessions, a note should be recorded and inserted as one
of the two text fields providing students with instructions on where to find
further information (see report sample). Occasionally, red flags may appear at the end of a row. These flags are S and TD. The S indicates that the exam is a Special examination. The TD indicates Timeslot Duration and therefore the exam is a serial examination (see report sample). |
